   I have been searching for a long time for replacements to my elderly and a bit tatty around the edges poly cotton jackets. I don't like the all singing all dancing brightly coloured garments in most High Street outdoor shops. I wanted something for town and low level country wear with pockets that are functional and roomy. I also wanted the fabric not to be so lightweight as to make the pockets useless for carrying anything heavier or larger than a bunch of keys.
   Well, the Venture is spot on for me.The pockets are roomy, in just the right places and it is so comfortable. As I recently discovered, it won't keep out a downpour but it dries in next to no time-and serves me right for not carrying a lightweight waterproof! I've also recently bought the waistcoat-again because it's so well designed, and have now ordered a Falcon and Traveller. (Posted on 29/08/2011)

   I'm delighted with my recent purchase of a Venture jacket. Although it is not advertised as a lady's product, I have found it perfectly suitable for wear. The sleeves are a bit long, but as the cuffs are adjustable, this has not been a problem.
   The jacket is not waterproof, but dried very quickly after I was caught in a heavy shower. The pockets are roomy and secure and would hold a folded lightweight waterproof if necessary.
   The fabric is light and comfortable and any creases hang out pretty well. (Posted on 11/08/2011)
