Colima GTX
Product Review (submitted on 6 March 2009):"brasher, a name long linked to lightweight, comfortable footwear, is gradually producing more supportive boots and even crampon-compatible models. The Colima is a great new product that has the typical brasher styling but with a little extra support. So you get a simple leather upper for maximum performance. A leather lining adds comfort, while a waterproof Gore-Tex liner keeps your feet dry. The toe box is good and stiff for rocky ground, while the heel cup is very supportive. Underfoot you get a good cushioning as always with brasher. But you also get a stiff flex, making this good for rocky ground, and a very aggressive lug pattern to keep you moving through the mud. This is great all-round performance that should be perfect for valley, hill, mountain and moorland walkers."
Verdict: "A good all round valley, hill, moor and mountain boot for those who prefer a lower ankle cuff, but still want good support for rough terrain or heavier loads."
